To enroll in the Certified Housing Asset Manager designation, please complete the NeighborWorks America certification enrollment form here. Please note, there is a $100 adminstrative fee.

Earning the Asset Management Specialist (AMS) designation is required before taking the more advanced classes in the Certified Housing Asset Manager training program. You can find out about the AMS program and how to enroll here.

If you have already started on the Certified Housing Asset Manager program but are not sure if you have submitted the enrollment form or what classes you have completed, please email nwcertificates@nw.org to find out. We’re happy to clear up any questions or details you may need!

Advanced Financial Tools for Asset Managers AM321vc/AM322vc

We will be offering Advanced Financial Tools for Asset Managers virtually with a live instructor over the course of 8 weeks. It will be divided into two parts, AM321vc and AM322vc. Each section offers plenty of time to thoroughly engage with the material, network with your peers, and enhance your skillset. Please note AM322vc builds on AM321vc and must be taken consecutively.

The Fundamentals of Affordable Housing Development (AH101vcx)

This virtual class qualifies as an elective for the Certified Housing Asset Manager designation. You will learn to evaluate the pros and cons of real estate development and how they can affect an organization’s goals. This is an accelerated 4-day faculty-led course which is designed for optimal interactivity and engagement. Learn about the pacing and what is covered. The class is offered 2 times this spring:

Asset Management Specialist Certificate: Ohio Edition

CHAM is excited to bring the full Asset Management Specialist (AMS) certificate program to Columbus, Ohio.

VIRTUAL SESSIONS

 

NEWLY EXTENDED: AMS+ West Coast Cohort

We partnered with the Housing Development Center, to bring our Asset Management Specialist (AMS) certificate program to Washington State and found that many of you wanted in. So we decided to open this virtual cohort to the entire West Coast!

We are offering AMS+, a hybrid learning experience exclusively for folks working in the West Coast. This training blends on-demand courses with live, instructor-led virtual sessions over a six-month period.
