CHAM Training

Asset management at its essence is a strategic and analytical profession requiring specialized skills. CHAM offers two certifications that take candidates through the process of attaining these skills in a progression that builds their careers.

The Asset Management Specialist courses start with the fundamentals and then explain how to apply the knowledge using real-life examples.

The Certified Housing Asset Manager courses teach advanced financial and analytical skills and techniques that the candidates then apply to one of their own properties.

“The field of asset management draws upon many disciplines, including property management, finance, policy and planning, and resident services. CHAM’s training courses allow people with experience in any one of these disciplines to enter the field and complement their knowledge of affordable housing asset management. The courses have been a great tool in helping us develop our talent pool—CHAM’s solid training produces well-rounded asset managers.
