Housing providers understand that is time to reassess property performance and plan for recovery. This introductory training will teach you the basics of property stress testing – the process for applying data to assess how financial stressors will impact your properties and your organization’s financial position.
This course is designed to build your asset management skills through hands-on practice using a case study of a nonprofit owner. Facilitated live by Jack Geary, a long-time instructor for LISC, NeighborWorks and CHAM, you will be able to get your questions answered during the class and by email.
Two 90-minute classes offered 1 week apart, with a case study to complete in between.
Session 1: Wednesday, March 10 | 1:00 - 2:30 PM ET
Session 2: Wednesday, March 17 | 1:00 – 2:30 PM ET
What learners said about February's class:
“I'll definitely get a lot out of my greater comfort in navigating property financial spreadsheets, increased knowledge about how the waterfall works, and a better understanding of how individual property finances and overall portfolio health work together.”
“Our organization has not been able to do stress testing yet, so this course was really helpful as an introduction!"
"It was helpful to hear from different companies across the country on their assumptions and how they handled finding and communicating rental assistance."
